Welcome to the website of Lisburn City Elim...

Lisburn City Elim Church is a warm, friendly church situated on the Belfast Road in Lisburn, made up of people of all generations from all walks of life. At last we are back into our own Church building, from the end of Feb, due to refurbishment, we have been meeting in the C.W.U. hall in Lisburn and of course we are eternally grateful to the hospitality and kindness that has been shown to us during our stay. But as we said we are now in our own refurbished building following the official opening on the 5th Sept which was well attended by many from Lisburn elsewhere. We were especially delighted to have in attendance - Our Mayor Councillor Alan Ewart
- The Rt. Hon. Jeffrey Donaldson M.P. - M.L.A.
- The Irish Superintendent of Elim, Pastor Eric Mc Comb
- The General Superintendent of Elim in the UK, Pastor John Glass.
The architect William Shannon has done a tremendous job of melding and blending the old with the new to create a unique and practical building, yet a building with style and grace pleasing to the eye and fit to meet the needs required. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who helped, who played a part in any way to get us to the position we are in now, there are too many to mention but you all know who you are and we pray God blessing on you all. |
